TRANSFERS

I'm thinking the transfer window is going to be very active this summer, especially in the premier league. It's getting harder and harder to perform well in the league and the top clubs will want to spend big in order to strengthen their squad and outdo their rivals.
Already we've seen Liverpool sign Jordan Henderson from Sunderland and Manchester United Phil Jones. Ashley Young is also on his way to Manchester United, whom I think is a very creative player and has a bright future ahead of him.
It seems as though British players are a priority within the Premier League, which they should be. Kenny Dalglish seems to want to do this, with the likes of Gary Cahill, Charlie Adam and James McCarthy on his list.

Manchester City will certainly be splashing the cash soon, I'm sure they'll bring in 3 or 4 top players to beef up their already impressive squad for the Champions League next season.
Talk of Carlos Tevez's future has been spreading, with the Argentinian saying how Manchester is 'boring' and that he 'doesn't want to go back' because of his family. Manchester City may well have to bring in another forward to replace him, with Sergio Aguero a likely target.
Chelsea and Manchester United I'm sure will be battling it out for 1st place next season, and they'll definitely be bringing in top players to do this. The likes of Wesley Sneijder, Luka Modric, Sergio Aguero, Neymar, Alexis Sanchez and others are getting a lot of attention and will surely be on their way to these clubs to help them win the coveted Premier League and Champions League.

Arsenal are having problems with keeping a few of their players. It has been reported recently that the captain Cesc Fabregas wants to join his childhood club Barcelona. If I were Arsenal, I would let him join because he's not going to play well for them and they should just get their £40 million for the maestro and find a replacement. Samir Nasri I believe is not signing a new contract for them, but I think they should try and keep him because he is a fantastic young player.

Managers are being transferred as well. Aston VIlla are still looking and Chelsea I've heard will have a new manager in the next couple of weeks. I'm hoping it will be Guus Hiddink because he is a very experienced manager and he has won a trophy before with Chelsea. He will also have a big task of changing Chelsea's squad, with a number of players on their way out who will need to be replaced with other talented players. The question is, who will they be and will Chelsea win a trophy next season?
We'll have to wait and see.

Latest News - Cristiano Ronaldo, Goals and Big Money

38 in La Liga? Really? This is the number of goals footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in the league this season, with one game to go. The world star was purchased from Manchester United in the summer transfer window for a staggering £80 million, making him the most expensive footballer ever. And he's sure making his mark in La Liga. He has now beaten the record for the number of goals in the Spanish league after scoring against Villarreal at the weekend.
Better than Messi? Not sure. Messi has also been hitting the net with 52 goals in 54 appearances this season. These two are definitely the best in the world at the moment in my opinion.

Speaking of Ronaldo, there are rumours that Manchester City want him for £150 million. It's ironic that they want to give this huge amount of money to Real Madrid, who are the richest club in the world. I doubt that he would leave them, Real Madrid are a fantastic team who I'm sure will win more trophies next season. Manchester City themselves have also won a trophy, the FA Cup, their first major trophy in 35 years. I'm sure they will win more in the coming years, what with the obscene amount of money they have, I won't be surprised if they bring in 2 or 3 more world class players in the summer.

Time for predictions, here are mine for this weekend's final Premier League games:

Aston Villa 1-1 Liverpool
Bolton 0-2 Manchester CIty
Everton 2-3 Chelsea
Fulham 2-1 Arsenal
Manchester United 2-2 Blackpool
Newcastle 0-0 West Brom
Stoke 1-1 Wigan
Tottenham 2-1 Birmingham
West Ham 3-1 Sunderland
Wolves 1-0 Blackburn

Here I'll leave you with a short video on Ronaldo's record

Cheers guys, thanks for reading :)
